Welcome to the Middle East
After missing the connecting flight in Frankfurt, the only way I could find to get to Tel Aviv was to go to Amman, Jordan. I even had a personal escort to the airport hotel! And, for once was the only American anywhere. The light here is really stunning. So amazingly golden. It’s also HOT and MUGGY! I didn’t bring the right clothes. Buying flip flops today. Meanwhile, I left Portland at 1pm, 3 days ago, and have slept 4 hours.
